Digital Art Director @ CBC
In Communications at CBC, I work closely with the Creative and Marketing teams during ad campaign brainstorms and creative rollout, with a focus on digital executions. Duties include art direction during photoshoots with talent, creation of key art, storyboarding and execution of motion graphics for social media and digital ads, among other things. Currently, I am doing a secondment with the @CBC Social Team, where I manage the Snapchat channel.
What Inspires Me
I am drawn to the organic feel and the long, slender, curving lines of Art Nouveau. I also draw inspiration from the movement of athletes and dancers, which can be translated into the elements and principles of design. I also love the beauty of nature and the patterns, textures and compositions we can find there.
Other Stuff I Do
When I’m not in front of my computer, you can find me either playing volleyball or doing Scottish Highland dancing.
